What it is

Drywall repair is cut-out or overlay of damaged board, tape, mud, and texture to blend with what is already there. Small holes from TVs and doorknobs are a patch. Larger water damage is cut back to sound board. The finish is paint-ready. Paint can be part of the same visit (see Punch-List Half Day) or left for you.

When to call

Fist-size or smaller holes, or a run of nail pops.
A stain on the ceiling after the leak was fixed.
Cracks at corners or over doors that keep telegraphing through paint.
You want interior paint but the walls are not sound yet.

Inspect the damage and say patch vs larger cut-out.
Repair, tape, mud, and texture blend on the agreed spots.
Prime the repair so it does not flash through paint.
Paint of the repair (or the wall) if we scoped it that way.

Whole-room re-rock, structural framing, or mold remediation.
An exact match for rare knockdown or skip-trowel textures based on photos alone; we will explain when a blend may remain visible.
