What it is
Pressure washing uses higher force on concrete, pavers, and most driveways. Soft washing uses lower pressure and a cleaner mix on painted siding, stucco, and near plants. Same visit can use both. The goal is to remove mildew, dirt, and oxidation — not to blast the finish off a house that still has good paint.
When to call
- Mildew or algae on siding, especially on the north and shaded sides.
- Driveway, sidewalk, or patio that has gone dark or slick.
- Before exterior paint, so new coats go on a clean surface.
- Fence that looks tired but the wood is still sound.
